Codinachs architects approached the Brand DA branding agency for a full rebranding. Starting from the brand's audit the company has been repositioned and the new visual identity has been developed to match the new feel and goals of the brand.

With the plant knowledge handed down within our family from generation to generation, they experimented with as many as over a thousand unique formulas. An authentic form of luxury was born.

Initially based in Barcelona Codinachs architects now are expanding globally and sharing their fresh and bold ideas in the competitive architecture industry.

However, we managed to preserve the history, recognizability and belonging to Catalonia, which is important for the client.

The old logo was a representation of the 4 lines of the Catalan flag.

The basis for the development of the color palette was the feeling of an elegant experience that customers undergo when interacting with the brand.
To emphasize softness and family values, we decided not to use strong contrasts but went for muted tints.

For example, we used 87% black instead of 100%. In this case, soft contrast helps to avoid sharp and rough transitions.
For the accent color, we chose golden ocher, which highlights the reverent attitude of the company to the client, and also perfectly reflects the essence of the company — A boutique architecture design firm.

Problem.
Before the redesign, the catalog was designed in a square format.

The bright red color was used as the main color of brand identity, the hierarchy in the composition and typography was not observed, which created the impression of an outdated design with a lack of consistency and balance.

Catalogue.
Сatalog is a document that includes not just a catalog of the company's projects, but also the company's interests, development history, goals, geography of projects, and brief information about the main team members.
For ease of viewing, we decided to make the catalog in a horizontal format, which makes it easier to present during online meetings.

To improve brand consistency and appear professional we have defined the color codes and layout grids that helped not only gain brand recognition, but give a competitive advantage by highlighting Codinachs architect's USP, which is their style & approach.
Solution.
The fact is that in times of COVID, paper catalogs lose their relevance. Most often, the company sends the catalog to customers in a web presentation format.

We have developed 110 catalog pages full of information about 
the brand and its main strengths.

Before rebranding, the same presentation contained only 45 pages, which in our eyes was not enough to showcase the 40-year experience.
The new version allows the client to fully present all their projects and communicate all the necessary details about their detailed approach.

We have developed a unique slide for each company employee. On the card you can find information about the employee's position, his short biography, which includes professional experience, as well as information about his education.
An interesting feature is that the card contains professional tasks that an employee solves in the company. Also, each card has a portrait of an employee.
This gives you the opportunity 
to know the employee in person and get to know him better.

We have developed a presentation in 32 slides. Now the company's clients can get to know each member of the team, make sure of their competence and experience.
